About the Project

• Innovation of the Biogas Plant of the Agricultural Cooperative of Breeders and Growers in Litomyšl.
• „BGP, which currently uses biogas for cogeneration of heat and power (CHP).
• The project addresses the upgrading of biogas to the quality of natural gas, specifically biomethane, and its injection into the high-pressure gas pipeline system for use at a CNG refueling station.

Scope of Technology Supply:

• Raw biogas pretreatment unit with a capacity of up to 550 Nm³/hour
• Upgrading unit with membrane separation for the conversion of biogas to biomethane
• Injection unit – measurement of the volume and quality of biomethane and pressure compression for delivery to the high-pressure gas pipeline with a pressure of 2.3 – 2.5 MPa
• Odorization station
• Extraction pipeline – Construction of the extraction pipeline
• CNG station

Technical Parameters of the Technology in Litomyšl:

• The upgrading project of biogas builds upon the existing BGP facility, where biogas is used for cogeneration of heat and power.
• The modification of a portion of the produced biogas to the quality of natural gas (upgrading).
• Injection of biomethane into the high-pressure gas pipeline system (Gas2Grid).
